Crystal Therapy is an ancient healing, that is being rediscovered again as a stand-alone therapy or in conjunction with other therapies such as Reiki, Feng Shui and card readings.
A crystal Therapy session involves the use of different crystals and gems being placed on and around the body in various layouts. The client remains fully clothed while the treatment is carried out.
Crystals have the ability to hold and emit vibrations of energy as proven in clocks and watches, where the crystal absorbs, stores and releases the energy, enabling the clock or watch to keep perfect time. This is known as piezoelectricity.
Crystals have a similar effect on our electro-magnetic fields, or commonly known as our aura. They are believed to vibrate at a similar rate to the human body, so they work with the energies that we emit. They absorb, direct, focus or diffuse our energy fields to help correct and rebalance the body’s natural rhythm to enhance wellbeing and work towards improvement in health due to the relaxing nature of the session.
Crystal Therapy is a great addition to a Reiki session as the two healing modalities can be combined to amplify the healing taking place.
